The Freelton Antique Mall
When the weather just isn’t conducive to doing something outside, but you’re going stir-crazy inside, Freelton Antique Mall is the place for you.
Two expansive floors of antiques await in The Freelton Antique Mall, with new finds around every corner. The massive levels (yes, it just keeps going) are made up of separate booths and cabinets belonging to different vintage dealers and sellers. Each booth is laid out in their own way, and with their own flair and they often specialize in something specific, so you can choose to look at booths that have products that catch your eye.
Some stand-out booths included a vintage notions and fabrics booth, a records booth, a WWII booth, a vintage photography booth, and a Hamilton ephemera booth, but there’s really something for everyone.
The Freelton Antique Mall has been a family-run and owned operation since 1997, beginning with Fred and Char Berrisford purchasing the market in 1996 and opening it with approximately 30 vendors and a small café. When Fred and Char passed, their daughter Penny took over the business, renamed it The Freelton Antique Mall and expanded to include over 200 vendors – which is where they stand today.
*Beware: On my visit, Google maps had an inaccurate map location, so make sure to hear over to the main part of town and head NW on Freelton Road until you see the antique mall signage.
While you’re up in Freelton, why not make a day of it and visit the nearby West Avenue Cider, Breezy Corners or Crawford Lake?
