Event Details

Join us for a public screening of Dolores, a documentary about American labour leader, civil rights activist and co-founder of the National Farmworkers Association, Dolores Huerta.

Directed by Peter Bratt, 2017. Free Admission; all are welcome! Doors at 7 pm.

History tells us Cesar Chavez transformed the U.S. labour movement by leading the first farm workers union. But missing from this story is his equally influential co-founder, Dolores Huerta, who tirelessly led the fight for racial and labour justice alongside Chavez, becoming one of the most defiant feminists of the twentieth century.
